World première of IWONAriette for flute solo (2012) was given by its dedicatee, Iwona Glinka, on 17 April 2012, in Cephalonia, Greece.
Written expressly for the outstanding Polish-Greek virtuosa, Iwona Glinka, IWONAriette is a piece which pays a tribute to the interpretive sensitivity and immense technical skill of the soloist. It is built of two identical sections, of which the second is significantly altered by heavy ornamentation, lending justification to the title.
